The ongoing war in Ukraine has destroyed many hospitals and displaced millions of civilians.

Doctors in Kyiv and other cities have been left with no choice but to work in less than ideal conditions and have been forced into the basements of hospitals to operate on their children who desperately need surgery.

As a result, so many children and young adults in need of urgent cardiac care have been left to suffer and at risk of dying or experiencing serious long term problems.

Chain of Hope is partnering with BCCA to organise and ship emergency cardiac consumables and equipment to doctors in Kyiv.

We have received requests from the children's cardiac team in Kyiv to help with supplies and equipment so they can continue their work in these circumstances.

Any support you are able to give will help us send them a lifeline to help children with congenital heart disease and to continue their essential work during this war.

Thank you.
